My refrigerator is cold but now the light is not turning on in the freezer. It was functioning before th repair guy dismantled it. I paid over $700 for this service that took under an hour and it’s not in proper working order now.

Excellent technician. Informed us of a fire hazard. But 286 dollars for 25 minutes of labor. 388 dollars total to clean lint and change a fuse is why I left 2 stars. For a few hundred dollars more I could have bought a new one. Will not use this service again.

Sears is more concerned with getting someone signed up for a monthly package than helping fix an issue. Even after signing up there were still $500 in additional charges and I ordered the part. Don’t use…

UPDATE: called the 1800 number, they said there was a notation from the tech that if we called back bc repair wasn’t working to refund our $$$. December 6 is when this started—end of January is when we said enough and we wanted our $$$$ back—-STILL WAITING!!!! do NOT use!!! Had a problem for a few months with our ice maker making clumps of ice instead of cubes. Decided to get it fixed. Agreed to the $150 diagnostic fee. Tech comes out and says ice maker machine needs to be replaced. $471. Orders part for delivery to our house. Comes to install—part is broke. Orders replacement part. Day of appointment, they cancel claiming I never confirmed the appointment or receipt of the part. They didn’t ask me to do that the previous time. So they reschedule for tech to come out. Tech comes out — second replacement part is broke. Orders a THIRD replacement. It comes and tech installs. Except by the end of the next day, we had too much ice and it no longer turned off. So we had to have them come back out to fix. It not only stopped making too much ice, it stopped making any ice. Called and tech came out again. Said fixed. But still will not make ice. Called for third repair. Came out said fixed. NOT fixed. We get a max of 8 ice cubes a day. This is a $2000 fridge/freezer bought and installed in November 2017! I’m going to call someone else and then sue for the extra cost and file with consumer affairs. Btw, the parts ordered came from Amazon and were $45. Not including tip to tech. But at some point, enough is enough. I’m out 2 months, over $500 and still do not have a working ice maker. Can’t reach anyone except bots. Don’t use.

I honestly can't believe how they rip people off.!!! I called to get my Samsung oven fixed they charged me like 150..to come out and diagnose it ..which was fine..because I do believe in paying people for their time...but then the repairman said it was the ignitor and said the part COST $ 381.00...I looked on Amazon and I PAID $20.00 for the part ONLINE which was a Samsung part....Then the repairman said the LABOR was going to be $341.15....Which was a TOTAL ALL SAID AND DONE FOR $659 if I used them because they would waive the $ 150.00...SO TO DECLINED THEM TO FIX IT AND THANK GOD I DID..so after I ordered the part , I timed the process and it ONLY TOOK MY HUSBAND 20 MINS TO FIX....I HONESTLY CANT EVEN SEE HOW SEARS WAS GOING TO CONCEIVE OF CHARGING THESE PRICES...SO PLEASE PEOPLE DO YOUR RESEARCH...SEARS WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME $659.00. AND MY HUSBAND AND I FIXED IT FOR $20.00 DOLLARS

I had Sears come for a diagnostic on my LG refrigerator ice maker. The “repairman “ didn’t even take it apart to look at it. He said I needed a new motor for $550. I could hear the motor was working fine. We declined the motor. My husband googled how to fix it , and it was simply a screw adjustment. The motor was not needed. It is still working fine a month later. He just wanted to rip me off by getting $550 for a part that wasn’t needed. DO NOT USE THEM!

Very unhappy with a window of 8am to 5pm for arrival. I was given an hour notice prior and still showed up 30 minutes out of the hour given. The washer was never tested after saying it was fixed. I am still currently dealing with my washer banging and being off tilt. My dryer is messed up as well and the dryer components came in last Wednesday. When he arrived today he informed me that he was only doing the washer and that he didn't have the dryer on his schedule. Now they have to come back out next week on Wednesday to fix dryer. They will need to fix washer again also because it's still not working properly. I need the washer and dryer fixed correctly and tested to assure the problem is resolved. I would imagine at this point a service manager would make an attempt to see that this is done properly and with a better eta of arrival and not an 8 hour window. I feel this has been unprofessional and I am disgusted with how this has been handled. He also left the old pieces that was supoosedly fixed just laying in a box on my floor. Not able to load a video because the picture wouldn't capture the issue in progress.

The pot smell was horrible and you could tell he was very high. He had trouble getting a complete sentence together. Not against pot but when you are paying for a professional to fix something you don't want to have to question whether they are able to do their job or even better drive a commercial vehicle on the road. He was not able to find anything wrong not sure if he is right or not, I guess I will find out. At least I get a 30 day window if it breaks again not to pay the technician diagnostic fee. Just wondering if sears will pay for all the food lost if their technician was incapable of doing their job.?!
