service is very disappointing
very disappointed with sears service first sears came in to fix my oven door it is still not fixed. microwave interior light needed replacing it took two weeks for parts and replaced Juan did fix the light two days later the grill fell off very disappointed in sears.

Would not work on the ac unit
He would not fix the problem with our ac. Another technician from another company came out later the same day and fixed the issue.

Surreal… in a bad way
After staying home for the whole day and losing a day's pay, and after having received numerous confirmations vis text all week long as well as the day of, and having been called to ask what my problem was, they never showed up. I was told that not only do I have to remove the dishwasher from under the counter so they could access the unit—at my expense—they said that they didn't have anyone to come anyway. End of story.

Dryer tech was a horror
Horrible. Did not know what he was doing. He left without job being fine because he was clueless about how to put the washer door handle on. What a bad experience this was. He should not be representing sears.

Terrible experience

Offensive, incompetent and dishonest
I've had my Amana refrigerator for 14 years and have always kept the refrigerator set at #6 and the freezer at #5; the coldest setting for each is #7. This week for the first time items at the back of each shelf froze, so I called Service Protection Advantage (formerly Assurant), with whom I've had a service contract for many years, and they scheduled an appointment with A&E. Ismer arrived today, opened the refrigerator and said the setting was too cold and that's why the items froze. I told him that couldn't be the cause of the problem, since I'd used the same setting with no problem for 14 years. He said "If a doctor tells you what your problem is do you disagree with him?" — and he would not identify himself or engage any further, and walked out of my house. I immediately called customer service at Service Protection Advantage (since I couldn't reach a live person at A&E) and the representative told me that Ismer had filed a report stating that I'd had the refrigerator set at the highest setting (not true) and that had caused the items to freeze. I am on hold right now to speak with a supervisor at Service Protection Advantage to report this incident. Ismer's behavior was incompetent, arrogant, offensive and dishonest — utterly unacceptable.
