Above and beyond: my tech is safer bc of his advice.
Edmar was great: I had a lot of questions about my refrigerator, how it failed, and how to prevent failures (i.e., new refrigerators need surge protectors so that power surges don't break their computers!). Edmar patiently and clearly answered all my questions, which made me feel great about his visit. Not every tech is a good teacher (or even a willing teacher) but Edmar is tops. I think he's an "above and beyond" person, and I'm glad I got to see him for my diagnostic visit and for my repair visit.

KitchenAid Heating Element Replacement
Start with the bad I don't like that Sears give you an all day window for a service technician to show up. Basically I had to waste a whole day waiting for my technician. The good my Service technician was Ignacio. He showed up and was very helpful and friendly and diagnosed the issue with our range. He have the quote and I asked if he had the parts on his van. He went out got the parts and came back in to replace the heating element.

Service Order # 11428481-results unrepairable
The technician looked over the refrigerator, went to truck and brought back a T-square. Went back out to truck for about 10 minutes came back in and ask for my signature. I ask what the diagonis was and he replied, "It's unrepairable". And the company would contact me in a few days.
