Our repair person, Kyle, was such a nice, knowledgeable person. I hope that if I should need another repair, Kyle will be the technician who knocks at our door.

The service was completed but the technician was abrupt and on the verge of rude. He scolded us for not cleaning the coils which we didn't even know how to do. He could have educated us and offered to explain what needed to be done. Also, we discovered in the morning that the refrigerator had been turned off and not turned back on. We were so lucky that we discovered it before all our food was spoiled.

I called Samsung when noticing there were a couple of LED lights out on the refrigerator. The lady I spoke with at service was very helpful, she had me explain what I thought was wrong and had me text a couple pictures proving that there were LED lights out. The first day he was scheduled to come out he failed to show. The second day he came out I was under the understanding that he'd have the correct part either him since the problem was already diagnosed. He did not have the part to its him and said yup there are a couple of LED lights out which I already knew! The third day he was supposed to come out we had an arrival time of 918. Failed to show up. At 1015 I got on and "chatted" with Samsung service. There was no chatting going on. It was very unhelpful but it must have triggered something to the service person and he texted me saying he'd be out between 11-12. I simply told him I need a better estimate than that because I'd need to come home from work on my lunch time which was a half hour. He texted back saying again he'd be out between 11-12. Probably closer to noon than 11. I did not respond and thought he can text me with a better time frame. He finally texted at 1105 saying he'd be there in 20 minutes. He got here and exchanged the LEDs and it is working now. Samsung and this service tech (Benjamin M) need to realize that everyone's time is important and scheduling 3 days that my husband or I needed to take off from work is NOT OK! I love the refrigerator but probably won't ever look at Samsung again because we can't take off 3 days from work as we're both in the medical profession and that is totally unacceptable!

Icemaker

Not very happy the icemaker still doesn't work and I got charged for it and now I have to wait till July 2 not very happy of course specially when I have company coming into town, I better not be charged a second time

First the experience was great except for the amount of time between when my oven went down and getting it fixed since it is not working properly yet.. It says it is 350 degrees on the control panel but is only 200 actually. When i raises the temp to 400 it regisered at 215 I now have to wait till the 19th for another day and someone else to come out.. Not making what was a happy customer into a very upset one

Between the two technicians we've had visit, the wrong parts were ordered extending our wait time over a week, we had a no show appointment that also delayed our repair, and worst of all our dryer, which worked perfectly prior to being "inspected" no longer heats. Would not recommend using Sears home service to anyone and will be calling for a refund.
