What a waste of time & money. I scheduled an appointment for 10/23/2024. I received a confirmation with a technician's name and an arrival time of 8-11am. I received another text a few hours later, arrival time by 2:30pm. Received another text arrival time by 5pm. By 7pm, I received a text that my appt was rescheduled for 10/29/2024. On 10/29/2024, I received a text arrive time between 8-12pm. Received another text around 1 pm. that my appointment was rescheduled again. I called customer service, and she transferred me to another rep in the scheduling department. I wanted to know why are they waisting my time and money and why keep sending text messages if you know the tech is not showing up. He stated that no tech was available and apologized and promised the tech would be at my home on 10/30/2024. Once again, no one showed up, but this time, instead of assigning a tech, I received a text message stating the tech would contact me when he was on his way. Guess he got lost on his way because he never showed up for the 3rd time. Called customer service again, and that alone can be frustrating because several of their numbers give you an automated voice recording. You need to click on change or update the warranty to speak with anyone about anything. On this day, I spoke with a young lady who stated the truck had broken down, and this is why the tech never showed. She then put me on hold because I wanted to speak with that department and a supervisor. She stated she has left him/her a message to contact me. She stated, "Give him/her at least 24 to 48 hours." So, you want me to wait even longer. This is past ridiculous, unprofessional, and poor customer service. I am in the process of moving forward with a formal complaint, not to mention I pay monthly for a service contract that's not being honored.

The technician appeared to be in a hurry when he arrived for my appointment. He did not explain to me what the issue was to my . He left without giving me a service receipt and did not cut off the unit that wasn't working in the first place. And now I need to make another appointment with a different technician.

Sears rescheduled my service twice without notice . Had to take off work 2 times while waiting 6 hours for a tech to show up. Now I have to wait another week . Not good customer service ..

Was waiting on the tech all morning with the site kept changing the arrivals time. Orginally they were supposed to be here between 8 to 12 but the site said that they would be here at 1131 to 1231 theb changed again to 205 to 241. Get a text at 1137 that they were on thier way with the web site saying there was one stop before me. They never knocked on the door or call my number and then i get a text at 1201 asking how my service was.I wasted my entire day waiting for them I will be making a complaint to my warranty service about this poor service. I was never even contacted by Sears to schedule the appointment they just gave a date and time and expected me to drop everything. I was able to drop everything and they still could not do what they are hired to do.

The appointment for the preventive maintenance on my dryer was fine, but the appliance techs kept pushing my other appointment back to fix my washer, which was what i really needed. Eventually, they came by and took a picture of my front door and claimed I wasn't home. They never knocked on the door or rang the doorbell. I was three feet away from the front door when the text came in. I wasted my entire day waiting for them when I could have had a competent tech in fixing my broken washer. I will never bother with Sears again.

I wish I could give sears a negative review had an appointment today and tech no showed called sears and the customer service said they couldn’t get out for two more weeks I was on the phone for over two hours the call center was oversees totally rude do not use this company horrible experience

This is a warranty claim and the Sears technician did not provide me with an electronic report / copy of the issue and nor of the recommendation he gave to the warranty company. He came inside turned off the fuse before he started the work and when he turned it back on the fuse box smoked and so did my unit, this is why I was looking for a copy of the report to capture the details. He seemed more concerned of who was going to pay him prior to the start of the work. The warranty company (Choice) claimed they are trying to reach the technician for clarity of photos taken, but they are unable to. I’ve also tried to reach the tech and Sears, but have been unsuccessful. The home is without an AC, and temperature has been 90+, please help me to resolve this (Sears).

Jamie is an excellent technician...very polite, very knowledgeable and personable....love working with him... Update: Had another problem with frig..called Sears..sent a tech out (was not Jamie) was told need a part ...they place part on order...well 3 weeks later part did not arrive...called sears..they couldn't tell me if the part was in transit, had the part been located or any "status" on where or when the part will arrive...all the while we were paying the monthly fee...well long story short...we canceled the service contract, in doing so they tried to charge me a cancelation fee on my credit card while I'm on the phone with them....that didn't work..I had canceled my card before I had called ....I heard about there tactics ....needless to say..I would consider other service providers before Sears! I would have given them no stars, but the app wouldn't let me...

Technician came out was unprofessional, combative rude and unwilling to communicate effectively about my issue. I was attempting to gain an understanding surrounding the cost of my service for the needed repair, but he lacked understanding and became rude. I politely asked him to leave as he was making an already stressful situation even more stressful due to water in my property. He submitted a ticket for payment and signed for me when he left. Illegally this is beyond wrong. He didn't even check my system before making accusations that it was condensation or low freon. Nor patient enough to listen to the previous history.
