dishwasher repair
Ryan did fine, although he left indentations in the panel. I was able to get to him before he left. He easily fixed the indentations. I shouldn't have had to ask him to come back into my home to fix it. That aside he did a great job.

Maytag Washer Maintenance/Clean
General technician/repair person or refrigerator specialty or washer/dryer guy... or "laundry"tech?.... Who was i supposed to ask for to come "service: the frontload (older) washer machine. Well, it all went better than okay, and the discovery of hose defect - worth finding out before bigger problems happened. So, appreciated this gentleman's time and effort, and inspection efforts. Left us with some homework to complete the repair and info on where to go and what items to get - so, we can/need to better maintain the machine. Thank you... SS

Repair of icemaker
Old parts were broken and old parts need to be kept with the owners. He insisted he will take them which I did not let hime take. However the main PCB was taken away. When asking for signature I should be shown the document that I am signing. After installing the parts the freezer is not working. There was no confirmation that made to see even if the water is coming into the freezer. The service technicians need to follow basic steps. At the moment the repairs are unsuccessful.

Ice maker
Claims our ice maker needs to be thawed out every 6 months. We had it forever and that was not the case. I think there is a fix and he doesn't know what it is.

Not fixed
This service worked for one load of laundry. It will not work again. The same problem is occurring. Tub not filling. We are unable to do laundry

Not able to contact ANYONE!!!
George is great and gets 5 stars from me. He has come to my home before. Unfortunately, if you have a problem, there is no way to contact anyone. So, Sears home service and A&E get 0 stars! There is no phone number you can call that will ask if you had a problem with the service. All automated and useless unless you want to schedule service. Very frustrating when there is water all over the floor. Why is there no real service person to call? You spend enough for this.

Lack of knowledge and sincerity
Scott S, was the first person to diagnose the issue. He order the control board and the icemaker parts. When they arrived he replaced them He did not check if the board was giving any error messages., My refrigerator stopped working totally. He was also taking away all my removed parts which I denied. However he still took away the original removed control board. After that another technician came and he did not understand why the control board was replaced and saw that the replaced control board was not working and ordered another one. Again third visit was by Scott and he replaced with the newly ordered control board that too did not work. I asked him to see if he has my original control board and he did have it in his truck and replace it and the refrigerator started working but the ice maker is still not working. He did not do thorough checking and told me he has to take away the old parts which I refused. I had a break down of the refrigerator for 3 weeks and had to throw away all the food worth $400-500. Now also the orginal problem is not solved. Scott had a very casual approach to solving the problem and did not pay attention to a lot of things. Sears Home Service customer service is horrible and lock you down from talking anyone. The call by phone system is such that it will not let you talk to anyone if your appointment is schedule and will not let you give any feedback. I will never recommend Sear Home Service to anyone. The control board charges have to be reimbursed. I have to put a food loss claim. And also claim back the charges for all the parts and services' if the icemaker is not repaired satisfactorily. I am currently in this process of putting my claim and have wasted many hours so far.
