Byron was extremely thorough in his handling of the appliance and his housekeeping throughout the process. He was knowledgeable and excellent with his tools, as well as his attention to detail of the processes for which to troubleshoot and fix the issue. I would recommend Byron anytime. However, the communication systems Sears has in place with their automated system has many details left to be desired. This was an absolute nightmare dealing with the system and the inability to speak with a human. Multiple times via text and email I was prompted to select an earlier appointment date. On all occasions, the system didn’t acknowledge or wouldn’t allow me to select the appropriate choice to update date/time. This was frustrating on every level. I was relegated to use the chat feature on the website, but that wasn’t foolproof either. Sears Home Service has a lot to be desired in the communication front from when the technician will arrive (window wasn’t accurate and kept changing) to how they contact you via text/email, but never phone. Good luck with their services!
