DO NOT USE SEARS! Matt W. cancelled twice. Also no showed twice with no notice. 4 appts total. Was scheduled by home warranty and by Sears Home repair. Wasted time taking off work and waiting but no one showed up despite confirming through emails, texts and calls. Was told those don't count and appts can only be confirmed from the service technician when they call the day of. So then why send the alerts to confirm. He also sent documents with forged signatures as the customer to show the appt was completed which allows Sears and the home warranty company to believe the tech came out and the service call was completed. They should be fired but this loophole is probably how their technicians are able to keep their jobs staying under radar. Don't even bother calling that Sears customer service line to a foreign country. There is no manager to speak with to submit a complaint which is very convenient Sears repair and their staff. The reps are clueless. The only thing the reps know how to do is transfer calls and reschedule appts. Was promised a tech would show up next time. Absolute worst home repair company and customer service. Hopefully they will shut down like their retail stores did.

They have cancelled twice. I have taken off of work to be home and then get updates all day long of estimated arrival. The first time they claimed they couldn’t get me and turned in the repair ticket as “completed”. The second time they put me off all day only to cancel 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive and scheduled my repair for 10 days later. I have been waiting 21 days for a repair. Still no service and no phone calls from a real person. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Zero stars! They are no shows multiple times and no response to attempts to contact them on a ticket they close even though they never came to the address on the scheduled dates multiple times. Yet they sent text messages confirming their s appt between 8-5. Then They fraudulently reported a visit to Asurion stating they came to my house and that my coils were dirty and that it’s my fault for not taking proper care of a fridge they never serviced bc they never came. This is the same thing that happened to Customer Marie’s parents. They are not legit and neither is asurion the warranty company given out bogus ticket numbers to customers and closing claims on baseless info from sears spplisnce repair who are no call no show getting paid based on lies from the technician. Rediculous!

My refrigerator ice/water has been out for over 4 months. Andrew H., the technician, came out and stated he would not repair the refrigerator under warranty because there was dust on the coils. Told me I should have pulled the frigde out from the wall, removed the back, and vacuumed the coils to keep the refrigerator under warranty. Son I did and rescheduled. FIVE TIMES after they have scheduled this repair, and every times Andrew H. has canceled the repair call. Took time off work to be there, no Andrew, no text, no phone call. First American scheduled each appt, confirmed multiple times, day arrived, no tech, no text, no phone call. Absolutely terrible service, zero communication. A phone call or text would have been a decent courtesy instead of another day off work wasted waiting for someone to show up. Horrible experience. This guy needs to be fired and First American Home Warranty needs to dump Sears as a contractor.

My mother's refrigerator has been out for over 2 weeks. She is in year one of a five-year service agreement, and the warranty company continues to state that the refrigerator is covered and the warranty is active. Andrew H., the technician, came out on November 19, stated he would not repair the refrigerator under warranty because there was dust on the coils. Told my 77-year old mother she should have pulled the frigde out from the wall, removed the back, and vacuumed the coils to keep the refrigerator under warranty. When I called back, their representatives laughed and said that was ridiculous! They rescheduled the repair, and assured me the repair would be covered under her protection plan. NINE TIMES they have scheduled this repair, and nine times, Andrew H. has canceled the repair call and states he will not cover the repair unless my mother pays another $600+ for the repair/parts. The benefits representatives and the repair representatives have told me they filed complaints against Andrew H., and they reschedule the service "with another technician." However, when my mother receives the notification for service the following day, it is once again scheduled with Andrew H. They just keep rescheduling, and over two weeks later, my elderly parents still have no refrigerator. After her spending $1300 on the extended warranty, I am beside myself!

Problem never solved. Working with warranty company to find a different company who is willing to show up and fix the problem. Warranty company is in agreement that a repair is better than waiting for the whole thing to break to have to then replace the fridge.

DO NOT GET YOUR APPLIANCE FIXED BY THEM. I paid the day of service. Got a bill in the mail 3 months later and called to get it disputed. Had to call 3 different times. The told me I did not pay although I have the email receipt and card statement. They gave me an email and the email is invalid. So it’s still not resolved…

I see they are not honest, they do business very badly, they can not do the job and do not refund us, we called many times, they do not talk and do not say when to refund, everyone should be careful

Sears home services was scheduled to fix my refrigerator by my appliance warranty company, Assurant. The door alarm was going off constantly and it was not holding the temperature correctly. He looked at the refrigerator for about a minute then pulled it from the wall, took off the back cover and took pictures. He then told me I needed 2 switches and 2 thermostats. He left and 1 hour later I received an email from from assurant saying warranty was not valid due to lack of maintenance for dust being on the coils. Repair man never mentioned this to us just said he would order the parts. Had another repairman come out and said it was 1 switch that was bad. Came back and replaced switch and worked fine. He said dust had nothing to do with the switch Refrigerator is only 3 years old. Sears appliances repairs and assurant warranty must have an alliance to defraud the consumer.
