My window of time was 8:00-12:00. I took off work to be home. No show no call! I went to work and got a call at 2:00...he had been tied up. I understand that it is difficult to know how much time a customer will take....but I should have gotten a call. My dishwasher has not really cleaned well for 4 months and I have had 3 or 4 visits before.....no solution. It runs....the water is hot....but it does not clean. I pretty much wash my dishes by hand and use the dishwasher as a drying rack...but even washing them as much as I do I find lip marks on glasses and when I run my hand over plates....they feel slightly gritty. I would like a solution! In most other ways Sears maintenance contract has good.

After two scheduled appointments and one where the technician couldn't arrive until two hours after the window given me (and I had to leave before he'd get there), I am now having to make two more appointments--one for the technician to come and then order a gasket for my refrigerator and a second to install it. This is even though the last tech said that if his repairs didn't fix the problem I'd need a new gasket for the freezer. I feel that all this has been extremely inefficient, especially since the last technician showed me on his computer that this is a common problem with the refrigerator I purchased just one year ago.

Ice maker was leaking water and freezing into a mass of ice in freezer compartment. The bottom movable shelve was like the Endurance locked in ice. Service call was made and paid but as of this day the problem still exists. Waiting for warranty service later this month.

Technician show up to repair an electric oven with a meter that was not working. Put in his notes that if customer still indicates it's not working we need to replace temperature probe. Called repair again because it was not working and that technician said we need to replace the probe. He said," I'm not authorized to order that part, the technician must order it. So it looks like it's going to take 3 visits and 45 days to get it working. Not happy!

This year was the final year of a 3 year maintenance contract that I'd bought from Sears to protect my washer and dryer. In years 1 and 2, Sears dispatched competent techs to my home who carefully examined the appliances and thoroughly serviced them. But the man from Sears who arrived this year barely touched either one. Instead he focused his attention on trying to sell me a very expensive, "whole house" maintenance plan as well as a cleaner for the washer that was enormously overpriced.

The day after parts were installed by two guys representing Sears, and we were again using the dishwasher after being without it over the holidays, water was noticed coming out of a light fixture in the basement directly below the dishwasher. After calling in a mitigation crew to begin eliminating the water from the walls and basement ceiling, a third dishwasher repairman came by and found a crack in the drain hose. We had had periodic maintenance performed on the dishwasher about a month earlier, and after that the dishwasher stopped working, techs were called, parts were ordered, parts were installed, and then the leak commenced. The repairman who found the leak said the two parts warehouses in our area (Denver, CO) were both out of these hoses, which should be a clue. He also stated that when these hoses used to be made of rubber rather than the cheaper plastic, they would last until the machine itself had to be replaced. We are very dissatisfied with Sears right now and are getting the feeling that their insurance carrier will try to weasel out of the responsibility to make us whole.

Still not repaired... Have another service scheduled, but why can't we get weekend appointments??? The only option I have is to take off work because Sears can't accommodate the customer's schedule.

Terrible customer service. Everything I received was in Eastern time and I live in Mountain time. Everything including my email confirmation and text alerts. I even called customer service (who I could barely understand and vice versa) and they kept giving me Eastern times. I didn't realize they were giving me Eastern times until my appointment for 7pm showed up at 3pm. How hard is it to make sure they have the correct time zone? Ridiculous! I'm so sick of dealing with outsourced customer service who barely speak English. Awful experience.
