Outstanding Technician...Sears Bureaucracy Mind Numbing!!!
June 7, 2024 My wife and I cannot sing the praises of our repair technician enough. He has been TRULY INCREDIBLE!!! At the same time, we cannot express strongly enough our deep disappointment with the Sears complex warranty delivery service. Our technician had to prove TWICE that our refrigerator was not repairable to the same "Department of second Guessing!!!" We were told the first time we would be able to order our replacement in 24-48 hours. WE NEVER HEARD FROM SEARS. AFTER TWO WEEKS WE CALLED AGAIN AND STARTED THE PROCESS OVER AGAIN FROM SCRATCH!!! SAME RESULT! TODAY WE WERE TOLD AGAIN WE WOULD HEAR FROM SEARS IN 24-48 HOURS. THE ONLY PERSON WHO WE FELT CARED ABOUT US, THE CUSTOMER, WAS JOHN OUR TECHNICIAN!!! Others seemed to do exactly what they are told and highly trained to hear our complaints and apologize. By the way, we have also had better experiences. But, this was a ZINGER! Technician John is Truly Outstanding!!!
I cannot speak more highly of John! He worked diligently for hours to determine, finally, our refrigerator was indeed "UNREPAIRABLE!!!" He literally had to PROVE his findings to multiple parties testing his conclusions. UNFORTUNATELY, WHILE JOHN IS AN UNBELIEVABLE PERSON AND TECHNICIAN, THE SEAR SYSTEM HAS BEEN A TRUE NIGHTMARE. I HAVE BEEN BOUNCED FROM ONE DEPARTMENT TO ANOTHER. NO ONE KNOW WHAT THE OTHER DOES. THE HOLD TIMES ARE SCARY WITH NO CALL BACK SYSTEM. FINALLY, WHEN I REACHED THE RIGHT THE REP SAID...OH...WE NEED TO GET FINAL APPROVAL FROM "OFFLINE." WHAT THAT, I ASKED! OH, THOSE ARE THE DECISION MAKERS. AFTER MONTHS OF TRYING TO FIX THIS REFRIGERATOR. I APPLAUD ALL THE CALL CENTER EMPLOYEES WHO THEIR BEST TO NAVIGATE AND SYSTEM THAT LEAVES UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS WITH PTSD. I HOPE YOUR EXPERIENCE IS DIFFERENT THAN MINE.

Jose Is a First-Rate Repair Technician!!!
Jose has been terrific in helping us keep our Samsung refrigerator operating! That has required a GREAT DEAL of trouble shooting and replacement parts. Sears has required him to prove absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt that the unit is not repairable before they will approve a replacement. Excellent service technician
We live in a remote area but Jose kept us informed of his expected arrival and managed to arrive here on time despite adverse weather conditions. He is very capable and knowledgeable and fixed our upright freezer cooling problem with no trouble. Highly recommend him!
