Thank Goodness for Sears Home Services.
Jose, the Sears technician, was professional, knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed the issue with the refrigerator, explained it to us, and then made the repair. Without Sears home service we would have had to buy a new refrigerator as no appliance repair persons would travel to rural areas in Mendocino County.

Jose was great. The only problem is the length of timed from call for service to appointment. If this had been something more serious, I likely would have sought help outside the Sears service warranty which I purchased. Several weeks to schedule an appointment is just not reasonable

Leaking dishwasher now ready for new service call
Bobby, a friendly and pleasant young man, came out to service our dishwasher, but he stated that he was unable (eg. not allowed) to work on it at all because, although it was in place and we had emptied our entire under-sink area for him to work, our dishwasher was not hooked up; and according to your rules, he was not allowed to do it. A surprise to us! This was a complete misunderstanding on our part. Since our dishwasher had been leaking, when the floor man came out to replace our floor, he had to remove it, and when he put it back, did not hook it up. We could not afford to have any more leaking which could damage our new floor. And we did not know how to re-connect the unit. Bobby said we needed to have this done first; then call the repairman out. Which we have now done and will call soon to arrange a new service call. Thank you, Karen B.
