Ended up there was really nothing wrong with the washer. I think the wife just didn't close the door, but the technician went through some task to make sure everything was OK. He did a great job.

Hung arrived around 1:00pm and finished diagnosing/cleaning both my dryer and washer around 3:00pm. I appreciate the timeliness of his arrival (service appointment was scheduled between 1:00-5:00pm). He explained what he was doing so I understood what was going on and answered all my questions.
