Washing machine
Juan checked my Kenmore washing machine which is very old and found the part is no longer available. Thus my washing machine may have to be replaced under the protection agreement. Juan came on time and was very respectful and took time to explain the problem to me.

Repairman good; supply service horrible
While the repairman came to my house to replace my Kenmore refrigerator compressor after only a few days, the Sears supply chain stated the parts were backordered. However, I found the required parts on Sears Parts Direct and AppliancePartsPro, available immediately. When I gave that information to the Repair Division rep, she said they could only order from their suppliers. It has taken 6 weeks for the repair to be completed. No excuses allowed for such horrible service! I have filed a complaint with the California Better Business Bureau, which has accepted my filing.

Sears home service communication
Auto voice system is horrible. Cancelled my original appointment and scheduled new one which I did not want. Received email stating new appointment and didn't show. Showed next day when I scheduled another appointment. No human being to talk to to get appointment corrected. Fully auto system horrible. Never use again

He was knowledgeable and clear in his analysis. He ordered the part needed and cleaned up the dryer while he was here.

Bernardo E. Did A Nice Job.
Phoned upon arrival 8:30am, determined repair and parts needed, left at 9:00am to go get parts and said he'd be back at 11a. While I was waiting, another person showed up to drop off parts. Bernardo finally returned around 1pm and repaired the drier. I suggest in this situation that it would have been a good idea for Bernardo to phone us and let us know he would be returning later than he originally stated..

Unacceptable Service
This review really has nothing to do with Shawn. It is more about the appointment process, It took 6 scheduled appointments to get my washing machine repaired. 3 of these appointment technicians didn't even bother to show up. Also, it would really be helpful to speak with a "live person" when calling instead of being routed through India, to someone who cannot be understood. I am seriously considering cancelling my Sears Home Warranty due to the unacceptable service.

Dryer drum
Today Bruce came to my home to service the dryer. When he removed the drum , he scrapped off the paint around the front edge. I'm sure this could have been done without scrapping off the paint. Our dryer looks used/worn around the edge. We are not pleased with this. My wife took a picture of the scrapped drum.
