Andy did the best he could with the parts he arrived with. Problem is still unresolved. Not his fault. The appt was scheduled for 8-12, but Sears system deleted it out and he had to put it back in the cue to do the repairs. He finally got here at 2 p.m.

Sure wasn't a good value. $290.00 for $5.00 switch. This service call should have been no more than $50. Now I know why Sears went bankrupt.

I’ll start with the positive. The problem was fixed. My appointment was originally scheduled on a Wed. am & on late Tues. was pushed to late Fri. When the repair man finally arrived he was SALTY! Grumbling “I won’t be able to get back there” (my stove was broken) as if I designed the kitchen to make his day bad. I thought maybe this guy is just having a bad day. He started humming and he actually repaired my stove in about 30 minutes, which was great. He told me “You can throw away these parts.” Packed up his stuff & split, leaving the boxes & replaced parts for me to thrown away. Not cool.

I feel I was charged for a repair trip that nothing was able to be repaired. I bought all the parts recommended by repair man but he did nothing that trip but it cost me $169.00. This trip he installed all the stuff up purchased for $700.00 and was charged $351.00 for this repair. It should have been hall that since I paid for a trip where nothing was done.

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and friendly when it came to coming out and being on time and knowing the equipment. We were just taking back a little bit by the price. We had the same pretty much thing done August 2022 and the price was $200 more this time around. I know things have gone up but $200 is pretty significant. We almost could’ve bought a new dryer for what we paid.

Follow up service for belt replacement. Unfortunately the tech didn’t know how to install belt thought it was the wrong belt tried to stretch out to fit. But after phoning another technician found out she was installing incorrectly. Installed it and everything is working.

There was a scheduling problem on Sears (not this repairman). He was supposed to come between 8am and 12 noon. However he did not come until 3:45pm. Repair went well but I recommend Sears re-evaluate their schedule program.
