Oven not working
I was disappointed that my oven could not be fixed in time for Christmas, but this my first time having to use American Home Shield. I am blessed for the thoughtfulness in helping to resolve my problem.

The technician was great
The technician was outstanding and professional. However the call center and personnel who take the call to schedule the appointment were far from that. I found the call takers rude and unprofessional as well as unfamiliar with how sears policy and procedures work. When calling back to advise that the problem had not been fixed and I needed the technician to return to rectify the problem the call taker made the whole process difficult and acted uncaring if my problem was fixed or not. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she immediately advised he was busy and could not talk on the phone, and the best she could do is refer me to a recording survey which absolutely helped no one. My advice for Sears is fire your call takers and hire more competent technicians like the one who came to my home and your business may improve. I do not believe you will take my suggestion though and that is why I will never do business with Sears or any subsidiary there of for that very reason. I will not recommend your services to anyone else and will do my best to steer my friends and associates to anyone besides Sears services. In summary I wish to make it clear. The technician who handled my problem with my refrigerator was outstanding and professional, as well as showed he cared about the work he was doing. However the call center who took the call and scheduled this appointment, should be fired for incompetence, unprofessional work, and rude behavior to customers on the phone.
