The ice machine is not working and you cannot open up the bin it looks like the Ice machine came off inside the bin. Please send back the mechanic to correct the situation.

Not fixed
The furnace kicked on 1 time and isn't coming back on. He should have stayed through a whole cycle. I need someone to give me heat 🥺 please

Tech can't be bothered
This guy has been coming to my house to fix my dryer for the past 9 months. He has no clue what he's doing. Doesn't write any notes on the visit. Won't bother calling the manager for help. Just opens it, looks at it, tells me I should just buy a new machine, and leaves it never working. I've never met someone so unprofessional. It's like he can't and shouldn't be bothered to DO HIS JOB. Utterly unacceptable. Sears, do better.

Poor service provided by sears home service
We have been trying to get my washer machine fixed since July 2024 and sears home warranty has not fixed my washer at all. They made appt to come to my house to repair my washer but never fixed my washer. This is very disappointing to me and my husband. This is the reason why we did not renew our warranty. They would not offer to give us a credit for new washer. I will never buy or purchase a sears product ever.

HVAC
I had an appointment last week; about 15 minutes before the agreed upon window (1-5 pm), the tech cancelled. Today, the tech was scheduled between 8 and noon. He showed up after 2 pm. Could not fix the problem. HE wasn't qualified to change the control board in my two zone system. I took 2 days off from work and the HVAC still isn't working properly. This was a complete waste of my time. AND, he signed a bunch of paperwork and emailed it to me stating it bore MY signature.

Fridge Service Appt.
My refrigerator ice/water has been out for over 4 months. Andrew H., the technician, came out and stated he would not repair the refrigerator under warranty because there was dust on the coils. Told me I should have pulled the frigde out from the wall, removed the back, and vacuumed the coils to keep the refrigerator under warranty. Son I did and rescheduled. FIVE TIMES after they have scheduled this repair, and every times Andrew H. has canceled the repair call. Took time off work to be there, no Andrew, no text, no phone call. First American scheduled each appt, confirmed multiple times, day arrived, no tech, no text, no phone call. Absolutely terrible service, zero communication. A phone call or text would have been a decent courtesy instead of another day off work wasted waiting for someone to show up. Horrible experience. This guy needs to be fired and First American Home Warranty needs to dump Sears as a contractor.

Mixed review
Marlon was great; in and out in 30 minutes. It was the routing department that made this situation so frustrating. It took two months and three different rescheduling changes to complete a 30 minute job. Each change occurred after we had confirmed, and we were never notified (and this was while waiting each time for the technician to arrive within the five hour window we were given). You all need a better system that doesn't outsource the scheduling duties between two or three different entities.

Technician failed to diagnose problem
Tech immediate diagnosed problem. Ordered board that he said was faulty. Same exact problem...need to have him return
