Dryer Repair
I have no complaints about the person who repaired the dryer. I do have a complaint about the entire process with Sears repair services. I reported my claim (faulty timer) to my insurance company and a repair was scheduled for 2 weeks after. The day of my 1st repair (on a Friday), the service person showed up with no part to fix my dryer. I reported the TIMER was not working but no new timer was brought. WHY?? Sears had all the information to order the correct part - model of the dryer, model #, serial #…what more did you need?? The repair person spent more time in my bathroom than he did working on my dryer. I lost a whole day at work. The part for my dryer arrived the next morning. I was told by my insurance company the repair person would come back on Saturday and complete the repair and he never showed up. I had to schedule another appointment and received a message that the repair person would be at my house between 7:35 and 9 am. I never got a message saying he had been delayed. He did not show up until 4:40 pm and was in my house for less than 15 minutes. AGAIN, I lost another day at work. If I don't work, I don't get paid so I lost TWO days pay due to your inadequate system. When the repair person had not shown up during the time frame indicated on the message, I tried to contact Sears Repair and find out a status but could not speak to a real person because you system is full automated. Your system is TERRIBLE.

Nice repair man, but appliance is still broken.
I've been trying to get someone out to fix my icemaker for 2 months. When someone was finally available to come out he was very nice, but as soon as he left the icemaker stopped working (again), and an additional problem occurred of the fridge door not closing all the way. Frustrated with both the difficulty in getting someone out, and the continued malfunction that is still not been fixed.

Working as designed?
The tech could find nothing wrong so left without fixing anything. The washer does not reliably clean clothes leaving undesolved detergent and dry spots on clothes when using the deep fill setting. This is the third repair call on this washer since it was purchased in 2023. The ACU has failed and had to be replaced on 5/29/24, and on 9/26/24 a water valve needed to be replaced. This washing machine has a history of failure in the 2 years since we purchased it. I'm not happy that he said there is nothing wrong. The machine does not work as designed and does not clean the clothes/towels etc. I expected more!

Stove not working still
Leroy was sent out to my house to install new parts needed for my oven to work. Upon arrival he said thing just needed to be adjusted and the oven will be fine. He adjusted whatever he said needed to be adjusted and the oven worked while he was onsite. When I went to use the oven, it worked but would light again to keep the oven up to temp. I've made new appointments which have been rescheduled by sears and I still cannot use my stove. It's been a few weeks now. This is ridiculous

Crappy Service
He came out to service the Maytag Electric Dryer that wasn't heating properly. He ran the dryer for 15 seconds then opened it and felt the air inside the dyer with his hand (not a thermometer which he should have used) and said that it was heatinf fine. I also had him listen to the dryer that had a rattling noise. He should have removed the front panal to inspect inside to see if anything was loose that was casuing the rattling. All he did was tell me that the rattling noise was because the sryer was sitting on a pedestal and he said that was making the noise. I've had that dyer for 20+ years and it's always been on that pedestal and never made that noise until recently when another servicew technician had taken off the panal.

Another worst warranty co!!!
