Furnace Checkout for Winter
Kylen did what he was supposed to - make sure our furnace is ready for winter. The appointment notification process is flawed. You kept asking me to confirm my appointments on texts to my mobile by pressing a non-existent "1" on the message. You can't do that unless the text message is formatted for it, and these weren't.

Kylen was friendly, but also knowledgeable about my Whirlpool refrigerator. He took the time to discern the problem and shared that info with me. He also explained the PA warranty that Sears offers. Even though we chose not to have him make the repair, we appreciated the option.

The Technician was great.
Your scheduling sucks! I got 3 text messages confirming my service between 8am and 5 pm yesterday (an inordinately long appointment window). After sitting at my house from 8 am to 4 pm, with no one showing up and no notification, I called GE, and immediately got a text saying I was rescheduled for the 29th followed by a text saying it was rescheduled for the 28th (today). It is virtually impossible to make contact with a human. It is abundantly evident that your convenience and cost savings is your highest priority, and your customers must just put up with your way of doing business or go elsewhere. I would have gone elsewhere, but I was held captive as it was GE warranty work. So, the bottom line is, your business model sucks, and your technicians appear tp provide good service when your system finally gets them scheduled.
