Tale of two techs. Travis has repaired 3 of my appliances.
Vincent was here as a helper for lifting the cooktop out for service. Travis did the replacement of several circuit boards that restored the appliance. He is very knowledgeable and experienced.

James was great I think the only thing I would say is Sears process as to Appointment window should maybe change to morning or afternoon. When 2 people work and I took off the first time of course a part had to be ordered so James had to come back a week later. Not his fault. But I couldn't take off again. Appointment window is too large Morning or afternoon would be much better.

Even though on his first visit on 08/22/24, He didn't have the bulb I needed. I had to wait 15 days to solve it. Also, He ordered two (2) bulbs on my account and only installed one (1), He took second bulb. I thought to keep it for a next replacement, but she said, no!

Costly
Jebadiah was fine but was here less than 10 minutes, required no parts, only had to realign rubber seal and charged nearly $400!!!

Unhelpful
Our experience with Vincent was below average. He was rude over the phone and was also unfriendly with my wife at the house. Overall he was unhelpful and didn't take the time to diagnose our issue. He was at least on time to the appointment.

Customer service & Vincent
Customer service canceling last minute is a problem. They should not have overbooked. Very inappropriate, and lacked knowledgeable on what to do to help the repair tech. Should be compensated for loss of a work time from incompetence. Vincent was knowledgeable and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Even with a lack of information from his uppers.

Did not spend much time inspecting unit spent majority of time in work van. Snippy with responses and after sitting in truck for 20 mins came and said my problem was not covered by insurance:
