My previous experience was terrible. I had to wait 10 days for another appointment to fix wires and install a control board. Of course it was humid with storms and high heat the entire time. I have no idea why these repair trucks dont carry parts. Sean, was great. He showed up and said, we will have you fixed and up and running today. That's how you greet a customer! He was knowledgeable, and friendly and courteous, and respectful. His answers made sense and he fixed my air conditioner. Unlike the previous kid that showed up and stayed on a speaker phone call with , what I assume, is an actual capable HVAC repairman, while he was guided step by step through how to diagnose the issue I was having. No parts just told me , (after showing up 5 hours later than he said, and now it's after business. Hours on a Friday), "since it's after 5, I'll have to order the part on Monday"! So since he was so late, I had to wait thru a 3 day weekend for this. I'm sure it could have been picked up locally. Sean, the good repairman, also gave me information to include that the system really needs cleaned and maintained and gave me his recommendation on who I should call.

SIX MONTHS TO FIX MY RANGE
Bryan was fantastic but Sears Home Service is the worst. Our stove stopped working on Christmas Eve 2023 and it has taken SIX MONTHS to get it fixed. A simple broken element replacement should have taken one trip and less than one month. Unfortunately, after Sears technicians ordered THREE wrong elements on four visits, the last technician finally got it right and said he would have the element sent to us and schedule a follow up appointment to install. Two weeks later, no element and no notification of a new install date. We finally called the stove manufacturer (ZLINE) and asked for help. They immediately sent us the correct element and said that we should recontact Sears Home Services to set up an install date. After two calls and being placed on hold for a total of almost two hours, a date was scheduled for May 22, 2024. A few days later I was contacted by Sears Home Services and told that the appointment had to be changed to May 23, 2023 which we agreed to. On the morning of May 22, 2024 we received an email stating that the technician would be there that day instead of the scheduled following day. Fortunately, we were able to meet Bryan who did an great job. After Bryan left, we received another email from Sears Home Services saying that a technician would be at our house the next day to repair the range that Bryan already fixed! Bottom line, Sears Home Service is the worst repair company we've ever been associated with and we hope and pray that our appliance doesn't brake down again. If it does, we're going to just trash it and purchase a new one. Do not waste your money on any warranty contract that uses Sears Home Services to do their repairs.
