Sears To The Rescue / doing the job right
GE Profile Fridge delivered by Queens Appliance, with compressor noise, gasket not sealing, freezer drawer squeaking. I was told to contact GE for a new door etc. GE ordered service from Sears. The cause of problems were identified, parts order with GE approval. Next service appointment, freezer drawer replacement was cracked from GE. Even with these issues, there was zero help from Queens Appliance, but Sears technician Osei, reordered item and scheduled next service appointment. This time, 3 technicians arrived and after a very diligent check the compressor noice was identified and corrected. The freezer drawer was replaced, gasket installed, freezer tray squeaking corrected and my family did a happy dance. For 30 days we suffered through the piercing noice, the long waits on the telephone with GE and Queens, large items taking up our foyer and uncooperative supplier. The Sears team was experienced, professional, patient, and very determined to to do a good job. They made a disappointing experience better with their personal service, their system, and they cared about our experience. We appreciate the work that was done and how they handled each phase.
