After all the headache of trying to schedule this PM appointment I expected more than a short visit. I assumed the service all would be more consistent with those in all of the past years.

No major problems with the technician or his work. I was not called in advance to arrange the original appointment, he just showed up. He was 2 1/2 hours late for the install appointment on the 29th. This was probably due to a very heavy schedule that day. I am not sure the ice maker is working as intended, barley making adequate amount of ice. I plan to call back in.

He was friendly enough. However he didn't want to take off the back of the little vent in the back of the fridge to vacuum inside of it while he was cleaning. And he laid his vacuum on top of my kitchen table!! He's been out here before and he did it then too!

Service for AC

The technician Tim is outstanding. He is a professional. I don't have a problem with the technician. The overall quality of service is very poor. Appointments are scheduled 2 to 3 months. After waiting for weeks, Sears will reschedule the appointment. It does good to purchase a maintenance agreement, because you cannot get any service. Why sell the agreement when you do not provide service. Recent service was for the AC. Sears no longer carries the part needed.

Lazy technician

My experience was horrible!!! It took this man 3 months to fix my washing machine... Not a commercial one but a regular residential one. First he says he has to order two parts... He only put one on so of course my machine had the same symptoms. Waited another two weeks for him to come back out and he ordered more parts that I didn't need. Waited for him to come back out and install the parts. Then he tried to blame it on my outlet... he didn't know my husband is an electrician so my husband tested the outlet while I recorded him doing it. The last time he came out I had my husband to deal with him and he actually put the parts on this time! He stayed longer than 15 min this time! My washer got fixed this time! With the exact same part he ordered the first time and didn't put on! Then he tried to leave with the original part and my husband told him to leave the part. I would never in my life use this company. They milk your pockets and not to mention time off work! I paid for a new washer with the money I missed calling off! He was at my house at least six times and never had stayed longer than 15 to 20 minutes. He is a fast talker and before you know it he is out the door and your washer is still not fixed. DO NOT use this service and definitely not this technician. I cashed the company and they sent the same guy out each time. Beware and don't let them milk your pockets.

Highly disappointed in Sears

While I won't blame all my frustration on Warren, I did find it quite irritating that he he seemed determined to make me feel like an idiot for scheduling a service call for my 13 year old Advantium. I am even more irritated, however, that I received two solicitation calls prior to the appointment acting as though they were confirming the appointment but really calling to peddle the insurance program. And then even worse was the fact that I committed to the ridiculously high $249 service fee (noting that solicitor #2 said 'oh no - it won't be over $150 - $250 is crazy high') only because it would be applied to the cost of the repair. So I feel like I was completely taken advantage of given the part I needed was no longer available. I feel that Sears should the allow me to apply the $249 to the purchase of a replacement. I am VERY unhappy with my experience and will not look to Sears for repairs or to replace my appliances (the rest of which are Kenmore Elite) in the future.
