Finally!
I have a crack and missing piece on my washing machine faceplate that I didn't have prior to Seth's appt. He did diligently try and silicone everything back together. He was thorough and friendly, but had issues during the appt. It took a lot longer than I expected

The guy that came out was very knowledgeable and did good work. It doesn't seem like the ice maker is fixed though. It's not making ice very well and we should have more ice at this point. If our problem gets fixed, I will happily give him a five

Still not working
Asked if he was sure it was fixed before leaving. He looked at it again tighten a screw and said "now it is". Now not making ice even randomly - so worse, not repaired.

Service Tech as great BUT...
The service tech that we saw was very nice. However, the overall experience with Sears Home Services was AWFUL. Our refrigerator was down for over a month. Our 1st appt for parts install was a no call no show. Our 2nd appt for install was canceled the morning of. The time range for service was 8am to 5pm. Not every on would be able to accommodate that large range of time. Yes, I got my fridge fixed under warranty but never again will I do business with Sears Home Services

Was not fixed
Had to call my warranty place and tell them that it was not fixed like the repair man said. Had to open a recall appointment for them to come back out again and look at it. Which was 10 days away. What a joke. It Was NOT loose change keeping the washer from spinning up. I was told the washer was fixed and spinning again after some loose change was removed. I asked if I should throw a load in to see if it spins with something in it. Was told no it's good to go. He left and I threw a load in and was doing the exact same thing it was before. So I went to google and googled said problem. right away things popped up showing that the hub on these washer goes bad all the time. That the splines get worn smooth. Extremely easy to get at and check. Sure enough mine was worn completely smooth. Went to the local appliance store to see if they had the part. Lady tells me they always keep these in stock for it's a common repair on them. Put the new one on and we now have a washer again.
