I called my home warranty company whom sent sears. The reason for the call was because the wash machine is not pumping / spinning all of the water out of the machine after a full cycle. This has caused a moldy smell and slimey gasket that I use vinegar, magic wash and have to leave the door open. Technician said that gasket needs to be replaced after a bunch of questions about how clean we keep our machine. Then at the end of the call and charging us $100 for a gasket that he says is normally $500, he states that we will need to wipe out the drum after every load with a dry towel and leave the door open. REALLY??? Who else has to do this with a “functioning” washer? And he never put a towel down and instead left water on the floor along with pieces of gunk from the gasket he also left laying there. This is NOT the sears quality of service I was expecting.

Fantastic! Great Tech replaced the ice maker assembly; it was wonderful that he had the part in his vehicle. Sears warranty has taken good care of my frig for 22 years.
