I paid him and his partner and they didn't do the job was a our 100 dollars he told me the part was 300 dollars I bought it on eBay for 50 dollars and fixed it myself

On April 4,2024 I reported to Choice Home Warranty my refrigerator had stopped cooling. They use A&E (Sears) for their repairs. It took until April 17 to get a technician out to check the issue. He had to order a part and said he would be back in 2 weeks. Did not show up until May 8 to install new part. Told me to wait 12-24 hrs for it to cool. Never cooled. Called in again to report this. Finally came back on May 22. Said he must have knocked something loose when he installed new part. Said wait 12-24 hours for it to cool. Never cooled. I called again to report. He came back May 29 and said it now needed 3 parts to fix, but could not guarantee it would work after that. So now I have to wait an additional 2 weeks for something that may not fix it. The technician told me he tried to get warranty company to replace it, warranty people said he did not tell them that? I cancelled my Choice Home Warranty contract and will never use Sears Repair service again. I am an 80 year old woman, but putting that aside, no one should ever have to wait 11 or 12 weeks to get a refrigerator fixed or replaced by any warranty or repair service. Now I am going to have to spend money I don’t really have to buy a new refrigerator. The technician’s name is Keith? Worse service I have ever experienced from both companies and would never recommend using either.

I can't say enough good about Greg. Very caring, polite and knowledgeable. However my fridge still DORS NOT WORK!
