Treadmill repair
Stephen's service was exceptional, however the service on the part of Sears to diagnose and fix the problem was subpar and frustrating. The problem was misdiagnosed in September by another technician. A motor was sent to my home. It had not been packed properly...must have been dropped in transport and arrived damaged. I did not find this out until the tech arrived for the appt. A new motor had to be ordered. This took months. When it arrived Stephen came to install it. He quickly realize the problem was not the motor, but the belt...which had to be ordered. It arrived in January and Stephen installed it and all seems to be working at this time. It took 4 months to change the belt on my treadmill. This treadmill is used for rehab and during this time I was not able to use it at all. Stephen was great, however the rest of my experience was not a positive one. I have had a service contract with Sears for years and have never had to deal with such a run around when it comes to service.
