Less than satisfied
I've never felt more dismissed by a service tech. My concerns about the functionality of my dishwasher, i felt like Brett told me it was all my fault, all he could do is complain about how bad my 20 year old Bosch dishwasher looked, implying that I or someone else in the house was "manhandling" the dishwasher which is why it broke, and we were negligent because we don't run cleaning tabs all the time through it. We bought the house used 6 years ago, it came with the house. The whole thing was a joke honestly. Waste of my money and time. The window for his arrival was 8am-5pm. He showed up around noon. Honestly after the first 5 min i wanted to kick him out of my house and call someone else. I will never have sears come back to my house or recommend them to anyone.

Did not believe my wife.
Bret and his partner did fix the problem however my wife consistently told them where the breaker was and what the error code and problem was with the dishwasher. They did not believe her and had to "search the house" and insisted to go into our 3 months old room to search for a breaker that wasn't there while he was sleeping. I feel if I was there they would have taken me at my word as a man. My wife felt they were not listening to what she was saying. Even thought she does know what the issue was and where the only breaker was. The only reason it's not one star is because my wife asked me not to leave a review of one star. Start listening to your customers. She may not be a technician but she is able to tell you the problem with the dishwasher and where our homes breaker is.

Would not allow him in my home again
From start to finish my experience with Jim was awful. I had serious issues getting my part ordered, when I finally was put in contact with Jim he was incredibly rude, even telling me on the phone "I am not done talking yet" when I was told he would call back. But I needed him to fix my dishwasher so I held my tongue. When we finally got the part Jim showed up (very sloppy appearance btw) my husband was here, they spoke breifly then my husband left for an apt. Jim made some negative comments about how our Contractor had installed the dishwasher, indicating that it had been done improperly. He stated that there should have been a loop in the hose under the sink to prevent water going back to the unit. He finished and left, leaving our front gate open, we and our tenants have small dogs, and the gate is to remain closed. When my husband got home, he was livid. I relayed that Jim had indicated that there should have been a loop, and I assumed that was the reason that he had not reinstalled the dishwasher under the counter as it had been. My husband, who had been a licensed G C in California for more than 30 years, showed me that there had been a loop system and that Jim had removed the screw and zip tie that were securing it to pull the unit out and that he should have put it back as it had been immediately prior. We also noticed that it was no longer level, Jim had made some mention about the way the hoses were behind the unit however, it had been installed by a licensed Contractor, inspected by my husband, was level and was functioning perfectly fine prior to the malfunction. This seemed highly improbable, we believe it was either incompetence or laziness on his part. The most frustrating part is after he had left, the dishwasher finished the cycle and is still showing the same error and it is not fixed. I feel like he used my lack of knowledge to get out of properly completing the job, this caused domestic intranquility in my home and was not appreciated at all.

Terrible
This guy was lazy. He is a terrible. He did not want to help. All he cared was about collecting the money. He was not knowledgeable. The washer was operatlbe. After he left, we put a load in. The washer stop. He made it worse. I will never use Sears again.

not worth the cost
the diagnostic fee is them coming to tell you its broken, which you probably knew when you called them.

What a mess
Technician was not prepared. He had the wrong information from Sears. Had a gas stove problem with heat issues. He said he was told the door on stove was broken??

Not His Fault
Bret is a very nice guy but the machine cannot be fixed. We have had service 6 times for the same thing since purchase and there's nothing he can do to fix it. The low rating is because he's come 3 times but cannot fix the problem because the machine is a fail.
