Gas Range Gas Leak and Parts Installation
Last year I had someone check my gas range for leaks. The service tech testex the range and identified 3 gas tubes that needed to be replaced. I got 2 of the parts. Mr. Ijaz F. came to install the parts. He tested the range and determined only one of the 3 gas tubes leaked. The tube that leaks is no longer made. He suggested places I could check for the part. He gave me some ideas of how I could fix the tube but he said that is not advisable. Most importantly, he showed me how to turn off the gas to the range. He instructed me to turn on the gas when I use the range then turn it off when I am finished cooking. He said the safest option is to get a new stove.
